Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Microblading and Ombre Powder Brows(Microshading)?

The difference between the two procedures is the way the pigment is deposited into the skin. Microblading uses a  handheld tool that creates hair-like strokes whereas Ombre Powder Brows are created using a handheld machine to create a natural powdery look.

Which one should I choose?

Without a doubt I always recommend the Ombre Powder Brow to EVERY client as the first choice. The Ombre Powder Brow not only lasts longer than Microblading, it is also less harmful to the skin. The Ombre Brow also heals the most natural. This is also a great choice for oily skin as well as aging skin. Old Microblading can also be covered up with an Ombre Powder Brow. Microblading goes deeper into the skin whereas the Powder Brow goes into the very top layer of the skin causing no harm or bleeding.

Does it hurt?

All services use a topical numbing cream or gel to prevent any type of discomfort. Depending on your skin type and pain tolerance level, you should feel little to no pain at all.

How long does it take?

Depending on your skin type, the overall process can take around 2 1/2 hours. This includes consultation, brow shape, color options, and actual procedure.

What is the healing process?

The healing process is quick and easy! You will not leave red or swollen. You will leave with beautiful brows right away. It is important to keep them dry for 5-7 days and use the ointment given for the recommended time frame given to you.

Will my brows be dark at first?

Yes! It is common for the brows to look dark your first few days. They will lighten up and settle to a more natural look during the healing process.

Will I need a touch up?

A touch up is optional. 6-8 Weeks after your initial appointment, you can determine if you need a touch up. Touch ups are great for spots that didn't retain color, to modify shape, or to change color. Touch up price depends on the amount of months after your first appointment.
